Viktoria Juhasz is a German artist specialising in Indo-Persian miniature painting. Following a career in finance in the City of London, she relocated to Singapore, where she dedicated herself full-time to painting.
Having lived in Southeast Asia for many years, she has developed a deep personal connection to the region’s diverse cultures, artistic traditions and visual languages. Her practice has evolved through a combination of self-directed study and formal training. Alongside her independent work, Viktoria has pursued ongoing studies with the School of Traditional Arts in London and learned directly from practising miniature artists.
Viktoria’s work draws on the intricate techniques and contemplative qualities of traditional miniature painting, reinterpreting these within her own contemporary compositions and themes. Her practice explores the natural world, pattern and colour, drawing inspiration from the rich histories, architecture, textiles and visual heritage of the Middle East and Asia.
